Every year during football season fans gather with friends and family to watch their favorite teams. Whether it's at the stadium tailgating or at home in the living room, snack foods have definitely become part of football.
In the 4th quarter of 2010 Mac's launched their Chips are for Wimps campaign, reminding football fans that pork rinds are a great snack food option that packs bold flavor and crunch. Mac’s partnered with the Chicago Bears for a fun game day promotion to launch the campaign. The Mac's team handed out 3,000 bags of pork rinds to hungry football fans that came to see the Bears vs. Patriots game on December 12th. Fans loved Mac's pork rind and had a great time interacting with the Mac's team who took pictures with fans for the Facebook page.
